I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) and am very excited to offer this service in Montana, Idaho, and Colorado. EMDR is an evidence-based practice designed to treat PTSD, C-PTSD, and other disorders. It uses a three-pronged model allowing individuals to heal from past, present, and future related disturbances. I have additional training in using EMDR to treat phobias, anxiety, and OCD using the Distancing Technique. Please call 406-926-1231 for more information or check out this video https://youtu.be/Pkfln-ZtWeY
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Intensives are scheduled on a case by case basis only. These sessions are scheduled for two or more hours at a time in order to allow for more processing in one chunk of time.

Sexuality and Sexual Health can certainly be impacted by traumatic experiences. I strive to support individuals through processing sexual trauma and move towards embodied and empowered relationships with their sexuality. Sexual health can be impacted by trauma, societal messaging, infidelity, religion, aging, stereotypes, oppression, politics, and more. EMDR and sexual health is NOT sex therapy. It is re-processing negative beliefs one may hold about themselves in their sexualities, based on their different lived experiences.

EMDR may be used to help first responders, EMTs, law enforcement, medical professionals, fire fighters, mental health providers, and military members process trauma. They may choose to process trauma from on-the-job experiences, lifetime trauma, combat trauma, non-combat trauma, and moral injury. I have credentialed with several insurance providers and EAPs to allow members in these fields to have access to EMDR therapy to process job related traumas or critical incidents.

I completed certification in Expressive Arts Therapy through the Institute of Creative Mindfulness. Expressive Arts Therapy can serve as a resource guiding us on our journey in trauma work. I invite you to use expressive pathways to further cultivate insight, strength, and attunement as you embark on your unique journey of healing the wounds of trauma. I also have extensive experience and training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, CBT-Insomnia, and Cognitive Processing Therapy. I have completed the Montana State required supervision training to be a clinical supervisor for licensure candidates in Montana. I currently supervise two LCSW candidates. I am also an EMDRIA Approved Consultant which means I can offer consultation to EMDR trained therapists seeking certification hours.
